I was trained in CPR and First Aid so that I would be equipped to handle emergencies on the football field. However, I was able to apply what I learned when I performed the Heimlich maneuver on a friend when we were eating dinner together. I saw him make hand gestures telling me he was choking and I immediately thought of what Michelle taught me. I was able to dislodge the piece of food that my friend was choking on, saving his life!

I contracted Heart Matters CPR to conduct training for all of my Operations Supervisors. Comparing this training to other first aid training we've done, I was pleasantly surprised at how lively and interactive the class was. Michelle really kept the guys enganged and interested. Taking the CPR class was Awesome! Michelle was a great teacher, she taught me how to be in control and stay under control in a crisis situation.
